• Answering telephones
• Checking guests in and out for services
• Entering guest information into Guest Vision software
• Scheduling and coordinating appointments
• Opening / closing retail area
• Cash control / Prepare deposits / Change orders
• Ensure appropriate guest service forms are available at all times
• Ensure proper flow of guest’s tickets
• Attend administrative meetings
• Monitor schedule accuracy for each student on floor daily
• Follow up with Instructors on student/guest paperwork
• Monitor and control Guest Services area
• Inform instructors and students of schedule changes or adjustments
• Confirm guest appointments
• Email appropriate instructors and Student Services each day of absent students
• Assist with monthly and weekly inventory counts
• Assist Administrative Staff with projects and tasks

Job Qualifications:

• Strong customer service skills and positive guest relations
• Strong communication skills
• Friendly, upbeat, and professional with guests and students
• Passion and interest in the beauty industry
• Takes pride in personal presentation
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to stand and walk for a long period of time
• Ability to read, write and communicate clearly in English
• Ability to use all general office equipment, including a computer

Schedule

• Day shift
• Monday to Friday
• Weekends as needed

• High school or equivalent (Preferred)

• One year as a stylist in a licensed salon preferred
• One year teaching experience preferred
• Organizational skills
• Excellent follow through skill

Responsibilities

• Keep class motivated and engaged
• Conduct daily attendance at the start of each class.
• Recognize and counsel students on dress code violations immediately.
• Hands on demonstration of all services taught.
• Create study guides, activities, and educational tools for students.
• Ensure all grades, forms, and feedback is completed timely.
• Foster teamwork within the student body and campus.
• Actively participate in student/client consultations.
• Act as a role model while guiding the student in superior customer service.
• Deliver the proper attention to each client/student on the clinic or classroom
• Resolve client situations within company standards.
• Assist with special projects or events
• Evaluate and advise student academic and attendance progress, providing positive and constructive feedback.
• Ensure consistent curriculum is being taught in the classroom as mandated by school, state, or federal policies.
• Attend Teacher meetings and training sessions.
• Ensure sanitation is completed by students daily.
• Act as a role model.
• Regular Communication with the Campus Director.
• Implement student policies timely and consistently.
• Identify needs and communicate with the Campus Director to discuss solutions.
• Effectively supervise your classroom.
• Consistently prepared for class by reviewing curriculum, developing lesson plans and course outlines, setting up the classroom, and making copies prior to the start of class.
